• We are currently seeking a Customer Account Specialist for the Customer Service Team in Greensboro, NC
• Enhance the prosperity of farmers by:
• Delivery: reliable, high quality customer service to an assigned client base of Syngenta retail and grower customers by establishing strong, trusting relationships and managing product order process from initiation through fulfilment
• Establishment: and maintain relationships with assigned client base
• Supply timely responses regarding product, pricing and program information
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all order management and fulfillment transactions
• Anticipates customer needs based on sound understanding of their business and current market and environmental dynamics and develops approaches that maximize business opportunities; proactively find new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts
• Identifies and initiates necessary action to resolve issues between customer requirements and Syngenta’s ability to fulfill those requirements
• Proactively communicates and/or escalates any product or order fulfilment issue(s) and proposed resolution(s) to all affected stakeholders
• Collaborates with key commercial stakeholders in support of overall sales and customer retention goals
• Work: with others to identify Centers of Influence (COI) and develop plans to strengthen relationships
• Actively utilizes the strength of the team to meet order requirements and develop in-bound & out-bound customer relationships
• Exercise good judgment and apply relevant knowledge to resolve difficult situations
• Identifies business opportunities and develops and implements required tactics

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Understand the financial impact of decisions
• High School Diploma or GED required
• General understanding of Agriculture as it relates to Crop Protection, Seeds, and/or Farming practices
• General understanding of business processes related to order fulfilment (materials planning/inventory management/logistics and supply chain processes)
• Advanced knowledge of SAP system
• Experience: a role that required customer service
• Experience: a role that required organization and management of multiple competing priorities under tight time constraints
• Individual must be authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Education and qualification routes

• Degree / qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (commerce, agriculture, science) highly preferred
