Who operates this website
Vinay Singirikonda operates Job Alerts World at https://jobalertsworld.com. For questions about this policy or information you have sent us, email [email protected]. This policy covers our website and correspondence with its publisher. Employers, government portals and other websites linked from our articles have their own privacy practices.
Information used during a visit
You can read articles without creating an account. We do not run candidate accounts, an application form, a newsletter subscription or a public comments system. We do not ask you to upload a résumé, identity document, payment information, password or OTP. Applications are made on external employer or authority websites.
Cloudflare Pages delivers and protects the website. Requests to the site can expose connection information to Cloudflare, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time. This information supports delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Cloudflare Web Analytics also measures page visits and performance without analytics cookies or local-storage identifiers. Its published documentation says query strings are not logged. Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. The site does not currently load advertising tags, social tracking pixels or embedded third-party media.
Saved jobs and search
The Saved jobs feature stores job identifiers in local storage on your device. It does not send your shortlist to a candidate-profile database or synchronize it between devices. The saved list remains until you remove items, clear the list or clear this site’s browser data. If browser storage is unavailable, a selection may last only for the current page.
Keyword search runs in your browser using a job index downloaded from our own site. A search term can appear in the page address. Reloading or sharing that address can include the term in the request or shared link, so do not enter sensitive personal information into search.
Google Analytics and your consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, referral channels and basic interactions, such as use of job search, bookmarks and official-source links. It remains off unless you choose Allow analytics. Choosing No thanks lets you browse the same content without Google Analytics. Open Analytics settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice.
When allowed, Google receives page and event information and technical connection data. Analytics cookies can distinguish visits. Our implementation removes query strings and URL fragments from the page address and reduces referrers to their origin before sending them. It does not send search keywords, candidate documents, bookmark lists or application outcomes. Automatic enhanced measurement, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
We store your allow or deny choice on this device for up to 180 days and configure analytics cookies with a 180-day lifetime. On withdrawal, we stop future measurement by this implementation and clear accessible Google Analytics cookies; information already received by Google is not erased by that choice. Google processes data under its policies and the Analytics property settings, and may use infrastructure outside your country.
Information you email to us
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate a correction or address a privacy or rights concern. Our email provider processes that correspondence. We do not use a correction request to subscribe you to marketing. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information, candidate records or application credentials.
Advertising and Google services
Current status: advertisements and Google AdSense are not enabled. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, and Google Analytics is available only with your consent. The following explains the intended use of Google advertising if it is introduced; it does not mean an advertising tag is running today.
If Google ads are enabled, Google and participating advertising providers may use cookies to select advertisements using earlier visits to this website and other websites. Google advertising cookies can support tailored advertisements across participating sites. Ad delivery can also involve reading cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers for measurement and fraud prevention.
Before enabling advertising, we will identify the participating services and update these notices. Where required, a consent mechanism will let visitors make or change choices before optional advertising technologies are used. Personalized advertising for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
Your advertising and storage choices
Google’s advertising settings allow you to manage personalized-ad preferences. The Digital Advertising Alliance also provides choices for participating providers. These controls can depend on the browser, device and account you use; declining personalization does not necessarily remove advertisements. You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Clearing local storage removes saved jobs. Use Analytics settings in the footer to allow or decline Google Analytics. Advertising remains off, so these analytics choices do not authorize advertising cookies.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell candidate profiles or maintain a database of applications. Information is processed by the delivery and email providers described above to operate their services. Following an external application link sends your browser to a different organisation; any information you submit there is handled by that organisation.
Saved-job identifiers remain on your device until removed. Analytics consent choices are retained for up to 180 days. We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and retain a relevant correction or issue record. Service providers apply their own retention practices, and their infrastructure may process information in different countries. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for records controlled by those providers.
Requests, children and security
You may email [email protected] to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you sent to the publisher. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request concerns you, and will handle it as applicable requirements allow. We cannot edit an employer’s application database; contact that employer directly.
The website is a general career-information resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us for help addressing it. The website uses HTTPS, but no internet service or email channel can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the website’s services or information practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
