In the general route, teaching experience after the qualifying degree is fourteen years for Professor, ten for Additional Professor, six for Associate Professor and three for Assistant Professor. Super-speciality experience differs by DM/MCh course duration: Assistant Professor may require one year or no additional experience under the specified route. Medical Oncology has an additional underlying MD-subject condition. Read the exact rank/speciality clause rather than using the general experience number universally.
Pay, age and appointment terms
Direct/deputation scales are Professor Level 14A ₹1,68,900–2,20,400; Additional Professor Level 13A2+ ₹1,48,200–2,11,400; Associate Professor Level 13A1+ ₹1,38,300–2,09,200; Assistant Professor Level 12 ₹1,01,500–1,67,400, with admissible allowances. Retired Professor/Additional Professor consultant remuneration is separately listed. Ordinary upper ages are 58 for Professor/Additional Professor and 50 for Associate/Assistant Professor. Mandatory signed postal application
The signed paper application, Annexure-A and self-attested supporting documents must also be sent by Speed/Registered Post to Recruitment Cell, Administrative Block, AIIMS Gorakhpur, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur 273008, by 14 November. Mark the envelope with the post applied for. The notice says candidature is not considered without this step. Fees and category documents
General/OBC/EWS applicants pay ₹2,000 and SC/ST applicants ₹500, using the official notice's payment instructions. Different ranks/departments require separate applications and fees. Category documents must meet the prescribed central-government format and validity, including the stated OBC non-creamy-layer period and EWS income/assets certificate. No age relaxation is available to reserved-category applicants applying against UR vacancies under the notice's condition. Verify the applicable mode and category before remitting any fee.
