• Position Overview:
• AECOM is looking for the position of Supervisor - Civil/Mechanical – Transmission Line, who will provide field-level supervision of foundation, stub-setting, civil works and tower erection within the assigned transmission line work front
• Verify tower location, foundation type, excavation dimensions and founding conditions
• Check dewatering, soil condition, benching, shoring and excavation safety
• Verify reinforcement, formwork, cover, anchor/stub templates and stub orientation
• Check concrete grade, batching, slump, cube sampling, pouring, compaction and curing
• Verify chimney dimensions, backfilling, compaction and site restoration
• Monitoring: special foundations including pile, raft, rock-anchor or well foundations, where applicable
• Verify tower member identification, assembly sequence, bolt installation and tightening
• Monitoring: tower erection, crane operations, lifting sequence, temporary supports and guying
• Check tower verticality, member damage, missing members, bolt punching and anti-theft arrangements
• Quality / delivery: compliance with approved drawings, method statements and ITP requirements
• Coordination: stage inspections with survey, QA/QC and HSE personnel
• Maintenance: inspection checklists, pour cards, erection records and daily progress records
• Identify defective or non-conforming work and report it to the Section In-Charge and QA/QC team
• Support: punch-point closure and final tower acceptance

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Diploma or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of transmission line construction experience
