• Job Purpose
• Supervise civil and structural works for substations and HVDC terminal stations, including deep foundations, converter halls, control buildings, trenches, equipment foundations and gantry structures
• Review: approved civil and structural drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs
• Verify site grading, excavation, filling, compaction and soil-improvement works
• Supervise pile, raft, isolated, machine and equipment foundations
• Monitoring: converter hall, valve hall, control building, relay room and auxiliary-building construction
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, embedded items, anchor bolts, inserts and concrete works
• Verify equipment foundations for GIS, transformers, reactors, filters, switchgear and auxiliary systems
• Supervise cable trenches, culverts, drains, oil pits, firewalls, bunds and water-retaining structures
• Monitoring: structural-steel fabrication and erection for buildings, gantries, bus supports and equipment structures
• Check stub-setting, gantry alignment, levels, plumbness and bolt tightening
• Monitoring: internal roads, drainage, boundary wall, landscaping and site-development works
• Coordination: civil interfaces with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire-protection and cable-routing requirements
• Review: concrete test results, material certificates, survey records and structural-inspection reports
